Scheduling Visits

Can-Med’s normal business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Please give the research coordinator as much notice as possible when booking dates for monitoring visits and specify:
 
1.  How long the visit will be (i.e. 1 day, 2 days etc.)
2.  If you need to meet directly with Dr. Pommerville or the Chief Administrative Officer or not.
3.  What you would like to cover in the visit.
4.  Whether you have wireless internet capability.
 
All attempts will be made to accommodate your requested dates.
 
 
Monitoring Rooms
 
Can-Med provides 3 private rooms for monitors to perform source document verification and regulatory document review.   
 
Two rooms have a direct connection to Can-Med’s high speed internet connection for lap top computers and telephones.

One room has a wireless connection and no telephone.

 
Parking

Long-term (all day) parking is not accommodated in this multi-tenant medical facility due to the need to have spaces available for short term visits patients during the day.
 
If you have a car, please advise the research coordinator who will advise as to where all day parking can be found in the local neighborhood.
 
Short term (2 hour) pay parking is available on site.
 

Lunch/Coffee

Can-Med is conventiently located close to a variety of restaurants, including the Black Stilt Café (great soups and sandwhiches), MacDonalds, Dairy Queen, Romeo’s Pizza and the Hillside Mall Food Court.
 
Complementary coffee, tea and water are all available in room #330.
 

Hotel

Downtown Victoria is a short ten minute drive.  There are many well-appointed hotels to accommodate business travelers.
